George Home Lolly Digital Cushion £7 George at Asda Stockist 0800 952 3003

Mmmn ice cream! Now, not only can you stuff your face with it, but you can decorate your home with it too! I’m more than a little bit in love with this tasty cushion from George Home (George.com) – and at just £7, it doesn’t cost much, ahem, lolly either!

And it seems ice cream and ice lollies are a bit of a mini trend right now. I’m also rather fond of this slightly more expensive Margate cushion, £38.50 by Home Slice at Notonthehighstreet.com

…and these fun accessories too. From left to right:  Cornet ice cream bean bag by Woouf £147 at Cuckooland.com; Newgate Ice Cream Cone Wall Clock £35 Red Candy; and Ice Cream Door Stop £8.99 Gettingpersonal.co.uk

…Finally, if you’re having a summer party, how cute would these honeycomb ice cream decorations (£4.99 for three, from Candleandcake.co.uk) look hung in groups around your garden?

George Home SS15 bright retro kitchen farm fresh range

People can be a bit snooty about shopping for homeware in supermarkets, but quite frankly, they’re missing out. George Home at Asda (and at George.com) in particular has some brilliant accessories at the moment that are bright, quirky and absolutely BARGAINOUS.

I’m particularly excited by their Farm Fresh kitchen range (in the photo above). With retro styling, eye-popping colours and purse-friendly price tags, you could go wild in the aisles and still have plenty of change left for your weekly food shop.

My personal favourites? The cockerel tray £5, Rise & Shine mugs £5 for a set of four, Polka dot cake tins £7 for three and the wooden utensils £2 for three:

Also worth popping in your trolley is the Jones Lemonade bottle clock £12 (looks designer but is waaaaay cheaper), and the Milkshake tea towel £2:
